What is a wedding content creator?

A wedding content creator is someone who captures your wedding day on a smartphone, specifically for social media and personal use. The footage is filmed vertically in 9:16 format, the way it looks on Instagram and TikTok, so everything is ready to watch and share the moment it lands in your inbox.

This is different from a wedding videographer, who films with professional cinema cameras and delivers an edited film weeks or months after the day. A content creator delivers the raw, real, unfiltered version of your day within 24 hours, plus short edited Reels that are trend-led and ready to post.

What I capture across the day

Bridal prep
Getting ready, the dress, the details, the reactions
The ceremony
The walk down the aisle, the vows, the kiss, the guests
Confetti and arrivals
The spontaneous moments straight after the ceremony
Formal portraits
Behind the scenes while the photographer works
Reception drinks
Guests talking, laughing, the moments between the formalities
The speeches
Reactions, tears, laughter, the parts nobody staged
First dance
The room, the lights, the couple, the guests watching
The evening
The dancefloor, the quiet corners, the last moments of the night

Every wedding runs differently and I work to your timeline. Before the day we will have a content planning call to go through your schedule, your must-have moments, and any specific things you want captured.

How I work around your photographer

I spent years as a second photographer on wedding days. That means I know exactly how to move around a wedding without disrupting anyone. I know where the photographer is standing and where they are not. I know when to be still and when to move. I have never appeared in a professional wedding photo and I never will.

Your photographer will not notice me. Your guests will not notice me. What they will notice is that your camera roll the next morning is full.

You do not need to be on social media

Most of the couples who book me are not influencers. Some of them barely post on Instagram. They book me because they want their memories back before the honeymoon, in a format they can actually watch on their phone without waiting months for a wedding film.

The raw gallery alone is worth it for couples who just want to relive the day. The edited Reels are a bonus, not a requirement.

Common questions

What is the difference between a wedding content creator and a videographer?
A videographer uses professional camera equipment and delivers an edited wedding film, usually weeks or months after the day. A content creator uses an iPhone, films vertically for social media, and delivers everything within 24 hours. Many couples choose both. Some choose one or the other. It depends what matters most to you. Read the full comparison
How much does a wedding content creator cost?
Wedding Day Moments packages start at £399 for a raw-only package and go up to £1,695 for the full content and photography bundle. Most couples choose The Everything at £795. See full pricing
Do I get to keep the raw footage?
Yes. Your raw gallery contains every clip and photo captured across the day. It is delivered to a private link within 24 hours and you have full download rights.
Will you disrupt the day?
No. I work quietly around the day and around your photographer. I never direct, pose, or interrupt. Most guests do not realise I am there until they see the footage the next morning.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible. Popular dates in 2026 and 2027 are already filling. A 20% deposit secures your date. Check availability
