This matters because couples often compare quotes based on price alone, without checking what each package actually delivers. A £450 package and a £795 package can look similar on the surface. They are often very different underneath.
Here is a complete breakdown of what you should expect to find in a wedding content creator package, what varies between providers, and what to check before you commit.
Three things every professional package should include without exception.
The three core deliverables
1
The raw gallery
The full, unedited collection of everything captured throughout your wedding day. Every clip. Every photo. Everything filmed from bridal prep through to the last dance, delivered to a private gallery link within 24 hours.
The raw gallery is often the most watched deliverable of the whole package. Couples scroll through it for weeks after the wedding. It is your comprehensive, unfiltered record of the day, and it includes far more than the edited Reels ever will. A full-day raw gallery from Wedding Day Moments typically contains several hundred clips and photos.
2
Edited Reels
Short vertical videos, edited to music and formatted specifically for Instagram Reels and TikTok. Trend-led, ready to post directly from your phone, arriving within 48 hours of your wedding.
The number of edited Reels included varies by package. Entry-level packages typically include two. A full-day package should include at least four. At Wedding Day Moments, The Story includes two edited Reels, The Everything includes four, and additional Reels can be added at £45 each.
3
The highlight reel
A short cinematic edit of the whole day, usually 60 to 90 seconds long. It captures the emotional arc of your wedding from beginning to end. The edit you will watch on every anniversary.
Not every provider includes a highlight reel as standard. Check specifically whether it is included or whether it is an add-on.
Beyond the three core deliverables, look for these as standard inclusions.
What else should be included as standard
A pre-wedding planning call. This is where you discuss your timeline, your key people, and the moments that matter most. A creator who does not offer this has no way of preparing properly for your day.
Supplier coordination. Your content creator should contact your photographer and other suppliers before the day. This prevents clashes, aligns timelines, and means everyone arrives on the same page.
Vertical format throughout. Everything should be filmed in 9:16 vertical format from the start. Content that has been cropped from landscape footage does not perform the same way on social media.
Delivery via private gallery link. Your footage should arrive in a private, downloadable gallery. You should not be receiving content via WeTransfer links that expire or WhatsApp messages that compress quality.
Full download rights. Everything delivered is yours. You should have full rights to use, share and keep the content however you choose, with no restrictions.
Six things that differ between providers — always check these before comparing prices.
What varies between providers
Coverage hours
Packages range from four hours to a full day of ten or more hours. Make sure the hours covered align with your actual wedding day timeline. A six-hour package that starts at the ceremony misses bridal prep entirely.
Number of edited Reels
Two Reels and four Reels are very different deliverables. Always confirm the exact number included in your package — this is one of the most common points of confusion when comparing quotes.
Delivery timescales
Most providers promise the raw gallery within 24 hours. The edited Reels sometimes take longer. Confirm the exact delivery window for each deliverable separately.
Travel
Most providers include travel within a set radius, typically 20 to 30 miles from their base. Beyond that, travel is usually charged at cost. At Wedding Day Moments, travel is included within 30 miles of Worcestershire at no extra cost.
The planning call
Some providers include this as standard. Others charge for it or do not offer it at all. It should be standard. A creator who turns up without having spoken to you properly beforehand cannot capture your wedding well.
Add-ons listed as standard
Some inclusions that feel like they should be standard are charged as extras by certain providers. Confirm whether audio upgrades, live Stories coverage and same-day preview Reels are included or additional before you compare quotes.

Seven questions to get written answers to before you sign anything.
What to check before you book
Before you confirm a booking with any wedding content creator, get written answers to these questions.
- How many edited Reels are included in the package?
- What is the exact delivery timescale for the raw gallery and for the edited Reels?
- Is a pre-wedding planning call included?
- Is travel included, and what is the mileage radius?
- What is the deposit amount and when is the balance due?
- What are the full download rights for the content?
- Is there a contract, and what does it cover?
The answers tell you a great deal. A provider who answers all of these confidently and specifically is someone who has done this properly before. If any of these questions receive a vague answer, ask again. A provider who cannot answer them clearly in advance cannot be expected to deliver clearly on the day.
Comparing costs? Package prices across the UK range from around £300 for a raw-only package to over £1,000 for full-day coverage with edited content. Read the full guide to wedding content creator costs in the UK.
